It is important to be gentle with yourself over the next few days as your physical and subtle body continue to integrate the practice.
Below are a few suggestions for self-care:
Drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated and allow any toxins released to be flushed from the body.
Please try to avoid alcohol or any chemical toxins for the next 24 hours. Continue to take any prescribed or required medications.
When you arrive home, have a warm bath or shower.
Eat freshly cooked and nourishing food that you enjoy.
Journal any thoughts, ideas, feelings or visions that come to mind.
Try and make time each day, to do something that brings you joy.
Take regular moments to pause, meditate or find slow deep breaths.
Sometimes, complimentary therapy can stimulate a healing reaction. During or after the sound bath meditation, you may experience an increase of your previous symptoms (for example, tiredness/fatigue, heightened emotions, increased alertness, body aches) before they subside or get better. If you feel that your condition requires closer attention, please contact your primary health care provider.
